From karaoke and imaginative tea parties to interactive entertainment and more, our Saturday morning birthday experiences combine the fun of a party with the magic of live theatre. You bring the birthday kid and their favorite people — we’ll help create a celebration they’ll be talking about long after the curtain closes. We have packages suitable for age groups between 5-9 and 10-15!

Take The Stage - $395
Best for ages 5-9 | 12 kids

At this birthday party, the kids don’t just watch the show, they become the stars! Through theatre games, imaginative play, silly characters, music, movement, and interactive storytelling, guests work together to create a one-of-a-kind performance, with the birthday child stepping into the spotlight for their special day.

Pop Star Dance Party — $395
Best for ages 6–12 | 12 Kids

Turn up the music and get ready to shine! Party guests will grab fun wigs and accessories, play high-energy dance games, learn simple moves to their favorite songs, and create their own pop-star group performance on the Black Cat stage. With theatrical lights, plenty of music, and a special spotlight moment for the birthday star, everyone gets to feel like part of the show—no singing experience required!

Comedy Club Party - $395
Best for ages 8-13 | 12 Kids

Bring on the laughs! Party guests will play hilarious improv games, create unforgettable characters, and discover the fun of making comedy together. The celebration concludes with a lively mini-show where the birthday child and their friends get to perform on the Black Cat stage.

Black Cat Karaoke Party — $395
Best for ages 10–14 | 12 Kids

It’s their turn to take the stage! Party guests can choose their favorite songs, grab fun accessories, and perform solo, as a duet, or with the whole group under the lights of the Black Cat stage. Between songs, our party host keeps the energy going with dance challenges, lip-sync battles, and musical games—all leading to a final performance featuring the birthday star!


The Black Cat Mystery - $495
Best for ages 9-15 | 12 Kids

There’s a mystery at The Black Cat and we need your party to solve it! Guests become suspects, witnesses, and detectives as they uncover clues, question characters, and work together to crack an original theatrical case. With a special role for the birthday child and a dramatic onstage reveal, this is one celebration full of mystery, imagination, and unexpected twists.

Each 90-minute party includes private use of The Black Cat, up to 12 participating children, a professional party host, theatrical lighting and sound, time for cake and celebration, and a special spotlight moment for the birthday child. Parents and nonparticipating adults do not count toward the guest limit. Parties can accommodate up to 20 participating children, with each additional child beyond the included 12 added for $20/ea.

  • Yes! Each package includes up to 12 participating children, but we can accommodate as many as 20. Additional children may be added for $20 each.

  • Black Cat Birthday Matinees are currently offered exclusively on Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

  • Yes! Concession snacks and sweet treats are available for purchase. You may also add our pizza package, which includes pizza and a beverage for each participating child, for $10 per child.

  • Outside food is not permitted, but you are welcome to bring a birthday cake or cupcakes. A pizza package, including pizza, a child’s beverage, plates, and napkins, may be added for $10 per participating child.

  • Absolutely! You’re welcome to bring a birthday cake or cupcakes. Just don’t forget your candles, plates, napkins, and serving utensils!

  • Yes! We offer optional decorating packages at an additional cost ranging from a simple birthday celebration setup to a fully immersive themed experience. Let us know what you’re imagining, and our team will help bring it to life!

  • Make your party even more memorable with customized party favor bags, signature craft sodas, popcorn, concessions, and other sweet treats! Our team can help you select the perfect extras for your celebration.

  • Absolutely! Upon request and at an additional cost, our café and bar can be open during your celebration, offering coffee, beer, wine, nonalcoholic beverages, and concessions for purchase. Alcoholic beverages are available only to guests ages 21 and older with valid identification.

  • No! The guest count applies only to participating children. Parents and other nonparticipating adults do not count toward the 12-child limit.

  • Your reservation includes 15 minutes before the party for arrival and load-in, 90 minutes of celebration, and 15 minutes afterward to gather your belongings and wrap up while our team begins cleanup.

  • We allow the host family in at 9:45 a.m., but guests should arrive no earlier than 10:00 a.m.

  • Not every parent is required to stay, but the party group must maintain a ratio of at least one supervising adult for every two children throughout the celebration.

  • Full payment is required to reserve your party. Of that payment, $100 is nonrefundable if the event is canceled. We also require a valid credit card to remain on file and reserve the right to charge a $200 damage fee if venue property or equipment is damaged during your event.

  • Yes! You’re welcome to bring decorations, but blue painter’s tape is the only adhesive permitted for hanging signs or décor. Confetti is strictly prohibited.

  • Item descriptionCancellations made at least 14 days before the party will receive a refund less the $100 nonrefundable booking amount. Alternatively, the party may be rescheduled once at no additional charge. Cancellations made 7–13 days before the event are nonrefundable, but the payment may be transferred once to another available date with a $50 rescheduling fee. Cancellations made fewer than seven days before the event are nonrefundable, and rescheduling requires a $100 fee. Rescheduled parties must take place within 90 days of the original date. Custom items or services already purchased are nonrefundable.

  • If The Black Cat Theatre Café closes due to inclement weather or unsafe conditions, we will work with you to reschedule your party as quickly as possible or provide a full refund.
